I always though that there was no need to identify a pilot in a crowd, he would identify himself at the first opportunity!
Elastic sided RM Williams boots …… probably good boots but, no class.
Probably why many pilots like them so much.
Why would you need boots to fly a plane off bitumen runways and from terminal buildings?
