One might ask the how much of a reach they would have over Russia territory and the possible success over or near Ukranian territory. It would seem the turn back to base would expose a rather large radar signature. Pretty sure I could get a return painted on my 737 weather radar at 10+ miles following behind it on a "peaceful" day of course.
Thier "stealth" is generally considered abysmal from all angles, its best is the front, which is not saying much
