The advantage with Thameslink is that the 12 carriages have no internal doors between each carriage so passengers can easily roam in what appears to be a single carriageway that bends.
the other advantage of Thameslink, is you can sit in the first class section at the back of the train, regardless of your ticket, as that is permanently declassified on TL. Just dont tell everyone.
