Since you use Private mode you will have no stored cookies (passwords).
Maybe try upgrading it first. There is probably an update a week or something so you are likely a bit behind:-)
If that fails - save your bookmarks, note any extensions you have and maybe save configs there, and re-install it. e.g. I have a configuration in my ad blocker that is important to me.
