Old news (28 February 2022, widely reported at the time in the industry press but I don't think mentioned here), I'm slightly amused the USAF is following the ANG in upgrading Vipers with AESA. 608 block 40 and 50 airframes will receive in addtion to AN/APG-83 and Link 16 a further 20 mods. UK still hasn't got AESA in it's no.1 AD aircraft .

Looks like the only replacement for a F-16 maybe an upgraded F-16 after all.
