For info, at the place I work a Non Airworthiness Item it something that should be fixed but does not affect operations sufficiently to ground the aircraft, or to invoke an MEL item. As an example, recently a passenger made a mark on a seat with a pen, just a small blue line. It didn’t come off when we wiped it, but was not significant enough to block off the seat as unusable, so we went with Not Airworthiness Item. Plenty of other examples, that one just springs to mind as it is recent.
