My late mum used to have her FM radio on in the kitchen and DAB radio on in the sitting room during the day as she tended to move frequently between the two, both on Radio 4 and fairly loud. She was quite deaf and didn't notice the slight time lag between the two formats - her aurally unchallenged visitors like me noticed it and I began to regret getting her the DAB radio as a Crimble present!
