Just wondering if anyone has info on how long it usually takes CASA to approve the 61-4A Form (basically approves your docs to write the AOSA exam)?

I got the AOSA study books from AFT whilst overseas, but now they are delayed in my cargo - any info where I can buy these ‘used’ or borrow them until I actually receive my kit so I can get the ball rolling with the study?

I have a 737 type rating and previously held a CASA CPL(A) as well, but figured easier to convert my foreign ATPL(A) than have to write all the ATPL subjects. I have > 8000 hours multi crew experience so I presume I don’t have to do the MCC course either?

It’s all a big grey between the fine print, so if anyone can shed some light on foreign ATPL conversions - that would be great! Thanks in advance!
It might be quicker and less painful to convert the GCAA ATPL to a NZ ATPL and then just do a TTMRA into Australia.

Would just need to do a law exam and a sim ride for the NZ licence, could transfer your 737 ratings to them (you would probably get multiple 737 rating if coming from flydubai the way they categorize the varieties)
