For clarity AT LEAST ELEVEN departures from NCL this morning diverted (EMA x7), (STN x3) , (CGN x1), there may be many more................
Is this due to industrial unrest, & is it ongoing / resolved ?
A significant number of NCL pax affected by this mess, insofar as returning flights then significant delays already eg. LS514 from HER looking like 4 hours due to delays at STN.
Bit of a nightmare I'd say.
How the hell did the airport allow this to happen & who foots the bill for this mess? It must have cost the airlines concerned a fair amount in wasted fuel and landing costs never mind delay compensation costs for retuning customers
