I actually think ordering more KC-46s and postponing KC-Y is a high likelihood. As much of a cluster
as the KC-46 development was, those costs are pretty much behind it. Compared to what a KC-Y development would cost (particularly if they want to make it stealthy), more KC-46s would be an absolute bargain.
