You're 100% correct, none of us
need to see photographs, however most pilots have an enquiring mind and an interest in what went wrong, how it was handled and what the outcome was. Going all secret squirrel on the subject just makes it look as though there is something to hide, my Zim$.02 worth.
From what I remember of Silcrete the surface looked none too smooth and the pilot deserves a Bells for getting it parked without the lot of them getting badly banged up.
