As for the £40 billion, I just cannot understand the levels of resistance in some posts on the web from US citizens, somewhere they seem to miss the fact that a lot of it entails arming Ukraine with American weapons that are being produced in the USA, so a lot of that money is going into the US economy generating jobs at home.
Of course you are correct and let's not forget the possibility that this war could ultimately be comming to a town near you/us if Russia is not totaly fixed. Few politicians in Europe impress with their grasp of that point when it comes to short term self interest. Stand by for war fatigue and fracturing of unity
