I know 2 external candidates called this week and asked about training away for 28 days. They were told first GS is planned for August and some starting as late as October this was for Sydney base.
Many internals from MAM and Jetstar also contacted this week. Many current Qantas international crew still on reserve rosters hence why GS is pushed out later.
