Harriers in Afghanistan

Have just devoured Paul Tremelling's new book:
https://www.amazon.com.au/Harrier-Ho.../dp/B09BDSKM1B
Highly recommended.
The chapter on Harriers providing close air support to pinned down troops below MSA in a cloudy, Afghan valley with dust storms is something else.
2G orbits, talking direct to the guys under fire, switching between weapons, trying to visually ID the targets very close to the good guys, watching the fuel, under fire yourself and all the time making sure you don't hit mountains or your wingman who's in the same valley.
Really brings home the demands of workload and situational awareness.
Probably all in day's job for any CAS pilot - but I found it impressive.
