He flew the contraption up and down the east coast of Australia and even took it to Tasmania as a first. Some years later I took the first jet,a Vampire, to Tassie.

Delfosse flew his Caudron mostly out of Centennial Park and a field at Concord Sydney before establishing the airfield which is now RAAF Richmond.
He joined the Army Air Corps which became the Autralian Flying Corps and went on to fly ops out of Egypt during WW1. He offered his Caudron to the AFC but it was not accepted.

Post WW1 Delfosse disposed of the Caudron and hopefully it is still in a safe place.

Am close to completing a detailed account of Delfosse's aviation experiences derived from voluminous dairies.
Delfosse Badgery’s flying at Richmond began well after William Ewart Hart obtained permission from the Richmond Council to clear and use Ham Common for his aviation activities in February 1912. Badgery didn’t become involved until 1916.
