By chance the 748VIP that was sitting at BSL for the last 12 years flew over southern UK on the 15th headed to Marana AZ for 'scrapping' even though it only has 42 flying hours on the clock. Apparently Boeing have purchased it. I would be very surprised if it was scrapped, more likely repurposed or parted out at worst. All the aforementioned courtesy of a tabloid ;-)
