T54A, there is a danger this thread is going to descend into a "my life is worse than yours" slugfest and however bad anyone thinks things are, someone somewhere has it worse. We know that there are a lot of redundant pilots out there many of whom will never fly again but this thread is not about that, it is specifically about one carrier and the somewhat unique challenges of working for EK and living in Dubai. It isn't a competition.
