Hi Everyone I am considering a career change from Australia to USA. 15,000 total time B737NG Captain with 9000 hours.
Unfortunately I have had 2 episodes of Atrial Fibrillation in the last 3 years. Both resolved by itself. This leads to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (Australia) placing a multi crew restriction on my medical.
Does the FAA have a similar policy or is it now allowed at all?

I'd think the easiest way to find out is to do FAA medical in Australia and disclose your medical history to FAA AME and see what the AME says. There's gotta be one in each major city.
