I feel like they don't want crew who are currently working for Qantas group airlines such as Jetstar or NJS (Altara) because we are so understaffed at the moment and some priority was given to people working for other airlines and to candidates who were successful but were put on hold during Covid (fair).

Time to apply for Virgin and then Qantas International I guess JKS
I wouldn't normally put it past the company to do something like that, but by the looks of the training schedule, they are just too busy to facilitate movement/intake anyone yet.

Training seems flat out at the moment as they are returning crew to work and doing CSM/CSS upgrades. AKL long-haul base have some ground schools starting over the next few months, and the company said they will be sent to Dubai for their training from the 17th May onwards (apparently due to training constraints in Aus).
