I have a (don't laugh) Beechcraft Musketeer which has a very curved windscreen.
When I check on FlightAware hardly any of my track appears and maybe only for a couple of minutes.
Plastics (windscreens, fabrics) shouldn't have any impact on radio waves, however aluminium or metals do have.

Try setting stall speee Vs0 in skyecho config menu to 0kts and see if that works better
