I don't see evidence of anyone going from the boat with no FAA tickets to Spirit nor can I find a formal announcement from Spirit that they're recruiting Aussies like Frontier has done.

I've tried to ask around but don't have any firm data from my limited sources. In any event, apply to Spirit and see what happens.

Spirit have been making official posts about E3s for a while now. I have heard they may be looking at taking E3 without FAA ATP as of next week. Basically sponsoring the ATP-CTP and FAA ATP same as the regionals. Currently they are taking E3s who already have some time flying in the US.
