The only pertinent fleet that has been removed is arguably Sentinel - which has been long gone. C130 and Typhoon Tr1 aren't going to change the price of fish in Eastern Europe either and arguably you need to free up the people for the F35 force - which is more important. Do we need more people? Yes. Can they be magicked up? No.

I doubt that hanging onto the T1s of 736 and 100 would bring much to the party.

As Frostchamber points out, you need to understand what you're trying to achieve. Arguably, by shifting investment towards uncrewed and achieving mass that way it's a more achievable option in the medium term.
