What do you mean rudestuff? Final target to "get there", I see it as a mix of flying hours experience plus theoretical study and passing ATPL subjects combined. I don't understand your point here.
What's the advantage of getting a CBIR instead of going through ATPL theory, then CPL and MEIR, etc? I have never thought about that choice tbh.
