Surely they produce the burgers, buns, chips, and relishes etc in country at Mc Donaldski facilities, so what is to stop them simply carrying on manufacturing and supplying to the franchiased stores?
I cannot really see what is provided to the Russians from out of country, bar the name and possibly some of the sauces etc. True when equipment breaks down it might be an issue, but what is to stop them continuing?
A quick search showed that most of the outlets are owned by MacD, but that apart i'm sure all ordering/invoicing would be run centrally from MacD HQ.
AFAIK MacD buy in all their goods from outside suppliers to their exacting standards/recipes. Even if the privately-owned outlets know the suppliers, these would have big problems trying to deal with hundreds of individual orderinq/transport previously managed centrally.
