Lots of serious (ie not Hawk size) Military noise over Frome again today-noticed by lots of people and went on a lot longer than recent days which have been one or two USAFF15s as per FR24 . Todays had nothing shown on FR24 at the time while the 'culprit did large number of loops and figure 8s overhead Frome and extending out to Salisbury Plain and Yeovil . F 15s again or RAF typhoons/F35s.
I assume this area gets used as there is effectively no civil traffic about a few thousand feet and twenty odd thousand or more from airway overflights . Any ideas on what and why?
