I never said the FOs were entitled to an upgrade but they do deserve the shot at the interview and sim assessment for upgrade. As previously stated the region is extremely challenging and has been the most diverse flying i've ever done in my life. -10 severe snowstorm one day to monsoon season in indian HF the next day.
As for the guy asking about FZ to EK. There's an anti poach agreement. EK will NOT consider you for any interviews until your initial 3 year bond with FZ is completed. This was pre-pandemic but I believe it'll still be in effect once things normalize once again.
