Whichever way this goes do you think this is going to bring more pressure on the formation of a European armed forces? Quite amazed they haven’t had one already.
Wouldn’t have a huge overhead as units could just be rotated in and out from member countries. I guess the main stumbling block would be that these forces wouldn’t be under the control of their own governments but under the control of the EU. I suppose like a European Nato. Any attack on one member is an automatic attack on all.
