- Putin has grossly underestimated the opposition to the invasion...in Russia. Apparently all manner of high profile Russians are publicly voicing their anger at what has happened.
- So far Russia has avoided its tried and tested tactic of using its artillery to flatten any pockets of resistance. One talking head thought that Putin wouldn't hesitate to do this if the invasion gets further bogged down, esp around and in Ukraine's cities.
Wouldnt flattening parts of a city would probably make it harder to clear?, it would put the Russians on a back foot, they would lose the use of vehicles and would be fighting a dug in force.
