I suspect (I am not sure though, not a Facebook user myself) that what you are seeing is the 'normal' behaviour of your system and this is linked to the fact that you are most likely logged into Facebook on your computer. Almost every website these days uses some form of tracking that is linked to the main players: Google and Facebook. In your case, every site you visit that has a link to Facebook will contact Facebook about this and this is what you are seeing.
If you want to test this, log out of Facebook and clear all Facebook cookies from your browser. See if the behaviour persists. If yes, you may have something more serious going on. If no, you can use the extension mentioned above to limit Facebook's involvement in everything you do. Alternatively, use Facebook in a 'Private Window' to limit its influence. Hope this helps.
