I know there's a lot of guys over on E-3's right now that don't have neither a degree nor 12 years experience. Based on what I'm reading I'm getting that's kind of a thing where the consulate just rubber stamps the applications rather than combing through all the bits and bobs.
Looking at the my visa jobs site there seem to be a number of applications, especially in the early Skywest days which were denied. Does anyone know of anyone, or a friend of a friend etc, who has actually been denied an E-3, and if this was for the degree or another issue?
This is honestly one of those things, you won’t know unless you try.
Visa’s are denied regularly for a lot of things such as criminal history (even if expunged), previously overstayed their ESTA, as just a few of many examples that could cause denial.
I wouldn’t read too much into the previous denials as applicants as of right now are still getting E3’s without a degree.
