The airport operators planning application to the airport owner will now not be approved until tomorrow due to the shear number of objections, which will all be ignored. Let's not forget that the airport owner is allowing the airport operator to keep £45m in payments. This cozy relationship appears too cozy as two is really one, as all of the surrounding councils would reject the application if the application was put to them.
A better option would have been to let the government decide as part of the DCO for 32m, as even if the application for 19m was rejected the DCO would override that decision.
