May be Robert Ben Lobban WALLACE formerly Capt., 535701, Scots Guards aka 'Captain Fantastic' (according to the Scotsman) has his own, mind you he might not fit into it these days. His predecessor was an 'active' RNR officer on her appointment.

Back to the substance, I am intrigued/worried by the indicated restructuring of the AAC units as they will be in the same roles using the same aircraft and the same RNAS and JHC/AAC Flying Stations.

(Thread drift) There is undoubtedly some disinformation in circulation: the recently formed 3 Gurkha Rifles appears to have vanished without trace; on 11/11 the then Colonel of the PWRR now Colonel Commandant of the Queen's Division Lt-Gen Chalmers (admitedly semi-detached as his day job is Master of Emanuel College, Cambridge) stated that the other four battalions of the Specialised Infantry Group, which it had been annouced would form The Rangers including 2 PWRR would keep their cap badges and traditions, a fortnight later there is the (controversial in some quarters) Rangers cap badge.
