Is the airport operator paying it's pax duty to the airport owner again?
I doubt it, as only 2,752,065 passengers had used Luton in the first 9 months of 2021. If that figure doubled in the last 3 months of 2021 it would still be below the shockingly bad 2020 figure.
The accounts for LLAL up until March 31st are due out before the end of the year. Now they will make for interesting reading, as they will include 12 months of covid passenger restrictions. The 2019/2020 accounts showed big loses despite only a couple of weeks of covid passenger reductions towards the end of March.
