I really can’t have any complaints about my year.
As far as work goes, it hasn’t really been influenced that much by COVID and I still enjoy flying helicopters immensely.
Speaking to fixed wing colleagues it’s clear their side of the industry has generally been hit harder and hearing some of their stories, I think, reminds me to be thankful for the job that I have.
I’m hopeful that the world continues to recover from COVID and that aviation continues to be a worthwhile and rewarding career for years to come - perhaps even flying the much-derided weird and wonderful VTOL machines that occasionally appear on Rotorheads threads
