When I see state governments mandate mask wearing in a car for a solo driver, or saying you can sit in a park and drink a coffee but if it is alcohol you must wear a mask and a myriad of other bizarre rules, then I lose all respect for the muppet who decided these rules. Australians have been treated like naughty children through the C19 response, so guess what, they will behave like naughty children.
The C19 response ceased being about health a while ago, it is now about politics.
So, are you in Aviation? The sector that's had a hundred years to get it's act together?
Do all the rules make sense? Are there no inconsistencies? Or is regulation always a series of compromises, unforseen consequences, and just doing the best you can?
Now take this ever changing, unprecedented situation, and think about how many Aussies aren't dead that could be.
It hasn't been perfect, but it hasn't been bad.
