I stand corrected. If both positions are for the same rank, then I guess it is a judgement call whether flying the more modern Saab 340 for less dosh but being able to put EFIS on your cv is worth $1500 differential for a year or so, by making you more eomplyable elsewhere. Seems like a big pay differential though for the same seat. If the Do228 is LHS and the S340 RHS, then assuming he has the necessary qualifications, then LHS P1 time is always worth having, more valuable imho than EFIS time, which is easily learnt.
