Haha, funny how it's a universal thing amongst Flight Ops. wanting to change in-house requirements last minute when it suits them. I guess, in this case, it worked out well for you too.
Thanks that was exactly my thoughts about it as well. I'm asking simply because as a newbie commander in a different company, that rule does not seem to be mentioned in my new company Ops. Manual.
