EASA CAT II - New Commander limits
I have a bit of an odd question I'm trying to figure out.
An old company of mine required a new commander to conform to slightly more restrictive CAT II minima than that of an experienced commander of the same type. In other words, the new Commander had to apply x amount of extra height to the CAT II DH minima and also add x amount to CAT II Visibility minima. This was the rule until 100 hours PIC on type were achieved.
Does anyone know for certain if that is an EASA requirement or just an in-house requirement as an added extra safety measure?
