As it was, the benefit of using the SMG did mean that we didn't need to pick out lead pellets whilst eating - just the 2 or 3 9mm bullets shared between us. He never admitted whether the bird was in flight or a sitting duck/goose.
Just returning to 365, funnily enough, I have not been able to eat mutton ever since. It's probably that the northern hemisphere version hasn't got that prized "marinaded in peat" taste.

Having an RAF Regiment officer as a brother, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that it had been hit by a Land Rover prior to receiving a 9mm injection.
