I don’t know but I’d guess that there’s still quite a bit of trade for the Draken base oooop North for the AD work.
Draken FA20 aircraft can often be seen in the proximity of the FOST exercise areas. Their job is to simulate hostile aircraft searching for ships using radar, and then launching an anti ship missile. The Hawks or Hunters then simulate the missile. The aircraft also simulate low level close range attacks with iron bombs - still a threat. I am not sure who will provide that when 736NAS goes - presumably HHA Hunters?

I am sure that the Hawk also has a dissimilar air combat training role?
