I went modular and I have never worked for Ryanair. If we account accommodation and living expenses then we get close to 50k euro. But we are digressing.

I still think you should consider a career change. For your sanity first of all.

And unpaid leave so far has only been announced in UK bases. I hope I won't be proven wrong, but if that's the case then it's more to do with UK Govt's handling of travel restrictions and Brexit.
Heck, if I were to be AOG at a UK outstation for more than 2 days as a crew I would have to go through stupid Covid self-tests, etc. If it happened in any other country in the continent I would be good as long as I have a Covid pass.
