You may not like it and it may conflict with the hours of research that you have done that means you know more than the collective scientific and medical knowledge from the last couple of hundred years but the Company has decided they require the vaccine for employment.
The "collective scientific" community consists of people just like you and me, afraid to lose their jobs and forced to toe the line "or else". This has been proven time and time again recently with multiple high profile cancellations. You cancel enough noisy people and, voilą, your "collective scientific" community suddenly takes whatever shape is needed.

Now if you don't want it feel free to go out and find an airline that will employ you without the vaccine, it really is as simple as that. The vast majority of employees want everyone vaccinated, the government wants aviation workers vaccinated and the the courts are likely to confirm an employers rights to require vaccination. So feel free to tell your friends they DO NOT have to get jabbed...... unless they want to work for Qantas.
The vast majority of people in middle ages wanted witches to be burned. Should everyone just accept blindly what the majority wants? This is a very dangerous line of thought.
Totally agree, presently in Australia seeking an alternative means of subsistence is the only real way out, but I think things will inevitably change in the near future.
