The reason airports and the travel industry are asking for help is because they're being prevented from trading due to the nonsensical travel restrictions. They know they will bounce back, but they need some help in the interim. Any Government support is likely to come with strings attached in any case.
The longer this drags on the more jobs will be lost in the industry and the more people will leave the industry for jobs elsewhere.
