It's an interesting situation, legacies need their regionals for cheap flying, but they also need pilots.
I have to remind all that United will be retiring 200 50 seat jets in the next two years. Gojet will likely retain all Crj 550’s. Commutair, Air Wisconsin, and Skywest will be the victims but it has yet to be determined who will bear the brunt. The hope is aviate will be able to absorb the pilots while at the same time encourage pilots to fill the need to staff commutair and air Wisconsin in the short term.
