Query mobile phone hoax ?
I'm trying to find out whether this is a hoax - any helpers out there ?
I got a Neighbourhood Watch newsletter recently which said that there was a mobile phone scam which goes along the lines of receiving an SMS saying "Text #90" to a number. Apparently the original texter can gain access to your details and run up bills on your phone.
Google search, Vodafone site search, and other hasn't come up with anything. Sending a text from my missus phone to mine, then replying with "#90" did nothing, except send a text with "#90" in it.
