they definitely have taken E3s in the past.
Make no mistake, the wholly owned carriers offering this carrot might be good for pilots on an E3 who can't go anywhere, but, for the vast majority, these numbers are nothing compared to what you will make spending an extra 3 years at the end of your career at a major that isn't AA.
Add to this that piedmont is an absolute bottom feeder in the regional world with some terrible contractual language.
Australians over here are finding their own ways into green cards, or negotiating E3s flying heavies with cargo carriers or Airbii at LCCs. The days of being stuck at a regional for us are slowly coming to an end.
