I know this will be a delicate point but out of everyone that was made redundant, there will be some that were selected for a reason and others that were selected on a more random basis. I would hazard a guess that only those in the latter category are likely to be asked if they would be interested in returning. The company was ruthless in how they selected people for redundancy and I don't expect them to be any more benevolent in how they select those for any potential recall.

On the topic of workload, July was one of my busiest months since I ever joined and I was knee-deep in productivity. A sign of things to come?
