I do have a NZCAA PPL H issued in 1989 before going overseas... I looked recently at getting CASA CPL recognised by NZCAA but needs flight test etc and the paperwork is just diabolical... FAA really only 15 hours in a R44? 4 years ago I looked at doing that, and the guys at Maui helicopters wanted something like USD20K to get my ATP issued, I gave up silly me, would not be in a pickle now. Decided to invest the money in a business instead
