Unless New Zealand is an option and you do the trans-Tasman recognition with CASA? The job is obviously not in Australia, and I don't know of any option in Australia to get type rated on the S76. Have you considered getting your US FAA ATP and use that as your native license instead of CASA? FAA doesn't require a type rating on the S76. Much cheaper doing 15 hours in an R44 to get the ATP ticket than doing the FSI simulator initial course. I'm rather perplexed how contemplating spending that sort of money to get a type rating is sensible even if there is a job on offer at the end of it. If I had 32K to blow on a S76 simulator course I'd be doing the AW139 course instead.
