You need to understand California - they've labeled damn near everything as cancer causing, to the point that their warnings have become next to meaningless.
Seriously, California went as far as banning small (i.e. young person) off-road motorcycles and ATVs because they contained lead. Specifically lead-acid batteries... Because everyone knows that kids routinely open up lead-acid batteries and eat the contents
